Through our Case Management services, a trained professional meets with clients to identify services that will help them resolve the employment, substance abuse, mental health, and other problems that prevent them from finding and maintaining stable housing. Once service needs are identified, case managers work with clients and with partner agencies to connect clients to services, monitor their progress, and address problems as they arise. Our partner agencies include:
- Boulder County AIDS Project
- Boulder Shelter
- Boulder Veteran’s Center
- The Center for People with Disabilities,
- Safe House
- Emergency Family Assistance (EFAA)
Other basic needs services we provide include: showers, laundry, toiletries, and phone access.
Our employment services include:
- Resume writing
- Search counseling
- Job search listings
- Voice mail and email
- Clothing vouchers and bus tokens for job interviews
- Computer training
Our healing services include:
- Addiction recovery group facilitated by a licensed clinical social worker and a certified addictions counselor (CAC III) that helps clients understand the nature of their addictions and the process of recovery. These groups also allow clients to develop supportive relationships with each other and to develop strategies for preventing relapse.
- Acupuncture
- Recreational and social activities such as “open mike”, a crafts group, an art class, a film festival showing documentaries about homelessness
- An advisory group of currently homeless clients
